Bo Duke-John Schneider

Bo Duke was the the younger one of the Duke cousins. It always seemed like he got to drive the General Lee more than Luke did. Bo was a ex-stock car tester. When Bo left for the NASCAR circuit Coy Duke replaced him. We won't even talk about Coy. Luckily Bo came back. The real reason John Schneider left the show was because he and Tom Wopat were striking with Warner Brothers. Bo always wore the same yellow shirt. Hopefully he washed it every night.

  • Luke Duke-Tom Wopat

Luke was sort of the older/wiser Duke. He was probably no more than 3 or 4 years older then Bo but he just seemed smarter. Luke didn't drive the General Lee as much as Bo, but when ever Luke got behind the wheel he could drive just as good if not better than Bo. Luke always did the fancy stunts. He was the one who would always be climbing out the General's window while they where driving. Luke's Replacement was Vance Duke. Just like with Bo it was a good thing that Luke came back or else the show would have gone down the drain with Coy and Vance. Luke was like Bo when it came to clothes. Luke always had on blue plaid. At least his patterns changed every month or so.

  • Jesse Duke-Denver Pyle

Uncle Jesse was the family patriarch. When he was younger he was a member of the Ridge Runners along with Boss Hogg. The Ridge Runners were A group of country moonshiners. When uncle Jesse was part of the Ridge Runners he drove his beloved car Black Tilly. But in the show he got stuck with his old white Ford pickup. Whenever uncle Jesse got to drive the General Lee (which was once in a blue moon) he loved it. Jesse always wore the same overals and red hat. Denver Pyle recently passed a way on December 25 1997.

  • Daisy Duke-Cathrine Bach

Daisy was Bo and Lukes cousin. In the first 10 or 15 shows Daisy drove a 71 Plymouth GTX. But then Bo and Luke drove it off of a cliff so she got stuck with a Jeep. Dasiy work at the Boars Nest ( a local bar in Hazzard). Unlike the rest of her family Daisy was always changing clothes. During one of the episodes she even changed in front of the camera. Daisy could always be seen somewhere in Hazzard dressed in her skimpy clothes.

  • General Lee-1969 Dodge Charger

The General Lee was more than a car to the Dukes it was a family member. Bo and Luke bought the General from a near by county. The reason the General was painted orange was because Cooter only had one color of paint, orange. If you would like to see the whole story on how the dukes got the General Lee watch the episode "Happy Birthday General Lee."

  • Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane-James Best

Rosco was Boss Hogg's brother in law. Rosco probably lost the county more money in wrecked patrol cars then he made the county in his phony tickets. Rosco could always be seen with his basset hound Flash. Poor old Flash was so old that she couldn't walk. Every dollar rosco made (which wasn't much) went towards buying Flash doggie num nums. Rosco always got 50% of 50% of the money that Boss Hogg would make on his illegal deals. Even though Rosco was a crook whenever someone was in danger, even a Duke he would try to help them.
